Lunar 100 Trainer
The
Lunar 100
was first described by Charles A. Wood in his article The Lunar 100 in the Sky & Telescope April, 2004 issue. The list contains 100 lunar features considered significant, both geological and historical, by Woods.

This page can be used to learn the location of the Lunar 100 features and view their descriptions and photos from THE-MOON WIKI. It has been tested on Firefox v3.0.6 and IE v7.0. Best viewing is at a screen resolution of 1024x768 or greater. The moon image is 500x500 pixels; using a display ratio that matches your monitor aspect ratio should result in an undistorted, circular moon image. ie: 768 / 1024 = .75 and 900 / 1440 = .75 - both match my monitor ratio, resulting in an undistorted image.

Clicking a lunar 100 feature from the list will update both the map location indicator (the red marker) and also the corresponding wiki page displayed in the bottom panel. Clicking the order type (Alphabetic/Numeric) will re-order the list.

The moon map image can be toggled betweem a gray scale image (Gray) and a color scale of altitude image (Color) by clicking the button in the lower right corner.
